What We Believe

At Inlight, our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We seek to inspire, encourage, and build a community centered on the truth of God’s Word.

1. One God in Three Persons

We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

2. The Bible as God's Word

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, without error, and the ultimate guide for faith and life.

3. Jesus Christ: Fully God and Fully Human

We believe that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for all humankind, and was resurrected three days later. He ascended to the Father and will return to rule in power and love.

4. Salvation Through Jesus

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of God’s standard. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we receive salvation and new life through the Holy Spirit, being born again into God's family.

5. The Holy Spirit's Presence

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within believers, producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. The Spirit also empowers us with spiritual gifts such as prophecy, healing, and speaking in tongues.
